Happy Snake Year!

Hi, it's my all-time favourite festival, the LUNAR NEW YEAR again! Let's welcome the year of Snake! :) Hope everyone will be blessed with good luck and prosperity in this new year ok! :D Huat Ah~

Shall do a short post on my CNY celebrations. Was very busy with final projects and presentations the few weeks before CNY so I didn't go Chinatown to feel the ambiance. Luckily I bought my new year clothes and shoes and bags early this time coz I don't wanna do last minute shopping again! And I'm so so so so so happy with this year's loot!

CNY EVE: Woke up around 10 in the morning and helped mummy a bit with the preparation of praying the ancestors. What a spread of food mummy prepared.. [One of the reasons I love CNY] Then cleaned up my room for the last time, and watch tv till midnight when we prayed again! Oh ya I couldn't be bothered to study coz I'm too excited for CNY! And I always pity those people who still have to work on CNY eve coz it's very lonely (right?) to be unable to stay home for reunion dinner with family! :( I hope I don't get a job that needs me to work even on CNY eves! Anyway there's no tradition to eat steamboat at my home, nor do we go to some fanciful restaurant for our reunion dinner coz there's only the three of us, so we stayed home for 妈妈亲手下厨的年菜！好温馨的一顿晚餐！<3

CNY day 1 outfit. Wore a simple white top and red laced shorts coz I know I would be visiting many temples so I just want to be comfortable hehehe and right choice indeed! 

CNY Day 1 was quite tiring but still, very enjoyable because it's the kind of feeling you don't get on any normal ordinary day that brightens you up. :D That's why I love CNY, everyone [well not all but most] you see on the streets are wearing red clothes! [HUAT AH] After all the praying, my family went to paternal's side's aunty house. LOL I don't know why I was so tired until I fell asleep while sitting on the couch hahaha! After that we went back to watch TeeVee! 

CNY day 3 outfit to uncle's house. Yes I forgot to take a photo of my day 2's outfit (the dress I love the most!!!) which I wore to maternal side's relative gathering! 

CNY Day 2 was fun fun fun :D Went to maternal's side's uncle house and all the aunty's and uncles and cousins gathered there! Got the most angbaos there haha coz many people were present, but sadly no one gambled this year! :( I always feel that gambling plays an important part in creating the CNY mood! But nonetheless we had fun chatting and watching tv. After that we went visiting to another 2 places and had dinner at one of the tze char stall. So in total, I lo hei twice on CNY day 2, sure huat dua zai one :')

CNY day 3, continued visiting maternal's side's uncle house, the one with a KTV room in his house, and we had an eargasm listening to aunty singing hokkein songs~ Big love for singing. And this made me want to sing K so badly... I wish I have a KTV room right in my house too! Then all the relatives came over to my house muahaha~

Supposed to be study time at night, which is now but I'm so easily distracted! :(

I'm gonna study now and sleep and enjoy my last day of CNY holiday tmr ok! Everyone goodnight and wish me luck for my exams!! XD <3 Ending this post with my face: hahahaha
